Talking Values… Asset Values That Is (Part 2)

The ideal scenario would be to sell a farm smoothly and quickly at the seller’s favored asking price… and we obviously hope that the Rooster Ag’ Realty division can help achieve it if possible.

However, the truth is, getting offered the price by buyers that a seller “feels” a farm is worth is not always possible. If you haven’t read my previous blog regarding this, please be sure to give it a read. Ultimately, every farm sale is different because every farm is different. There is far more that goes into the value of a farm than one might think.Talking Values... Asset Values That Is Part 2

Data supported numbers will always be the backbone when it comes down to getting a farm properly valued. We call this data driven land valuation the Market Analysis. You might have heard of these before; however, our Market Analysis is unique because this is one of the many ways that the Rooster Ag’ Appraisal division works closely with the Real Estate division, and I want to tell you more about it.

Rooster Ag’s Market Analysis utilizes a similar system as our Rooster Ag’ Gold Standard Farmland Appraisals; though, the turnaround time is often even quicker than our already quick appraisal turnaround time and even more affordable than our already affordable appraisals. We use facts, both data and numbers, regarding your specific farm’s characteristics by comparing it to the most recent farm sales in the surrounding area to give you an accurate number on what your farm could sell for and what it is worth in the current market.

With our divisions working together on these reports you get information that not just any broker could give you, but one that is backed up by true ag’ professionals here at Rooster Ag’.

A Market Analysis is a crucial tool in our toolbox, and we know how important it is for you and for your investments.

There are times when an appraisal or a market analysis is more appropriate for your situation, so we recommend that you reach out to our Real Estate or Appraisal division to find out which report is better for your current needs… and as always, we will get that done for you.

To learn more about our appraisal or market analysis process and the ways we can assist you, please be sure to check out our webpage or give us a call!

Until next time,
