Karl was born and raised in North Aurora, IL. After high school, he worked various jobs before deciding to enlist in the United States Navy. Karl spent five years training, deploying, and serving alongside the United States Marine Corps. He says “Those experiences helped give me the patience, gratitude, and skills that I did not know I had before”. When his enlistment was up, Karl decided he wanted to use his G.I. Bill to finish his college education. Karl attended Aurora University and obtained his bachelor’s degree in business administration before starting at Rooster Ag’.
Karl says “I knew that I wanted to pursue a job in the insurance world, I just was not sure where. During my job search, I came across Rooster Ag’ and was drawn to the idea of helping take care of our local farmers insurance needs. So far my time at Rooster Ag’ has consisted of learning and assisting in our crop insurance division. Like starting anywhere new, it has been a bit of challenge. However, at the end of the day I enjoy what I do and am glad that I can help keep our customer’s minds at ease by ensuring that all their crops are covered. I look forward to continuing meeting our local farmers, expanding Rooster Ag’, and assisting the farming community of Illinois.”
Karl has become an integral part of our daily operations in our Crop Insurance division and we are thrilled to have him. Be sure to stop in and meet Karl and see how he has helped to take our Crop Insurance services to the next level.
